Sigma DR-28 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar - (Natural)
Next Day Delivery* available - order by 12noon
The Sigma DR-28 acoustic guitar from the Standard series comes with a natural finish and has such a high build quality, it's hard to believe the price!
This great-sounding dreadnaught received high praise from Guitarist magazine upon its release in 2012 who described it as “punching way above its weight, the DR-28 offers a surprisingly rich and complex timbre complete with ample overtones and good sustain”.
It has a slim, two piece mahogany neck with Indian Rosewood fingerboard and an adjustable truss rod.
Like other mid to high-end guitars in Sigma’s range, the DR-28 features a solid Sitka top and Indian Rosewood back and sides. For hardware, Sigma have favoured Grover’s chrome diecast tuners, bone nut and bone compensated bridge.
The dreadnaught body is the largest in Sigma’s line and boasts an excellent bass response, open sound and excellent projection.
The sound is well-rounded with a clear, bright top end that out performs any competing dreadnaught acoustic guitar in this price range.
Don’t let the DR-28’s elegant yet understated looks fool you- this is a beautifully built, high quality guitar at an unbelievable price point. You will not find a better dreadnaught for the money!
