One of the most unique-looking and sounding guitars we’ve seen from Ibanez, the AR325-DBS electric guitar offers a staggering tonal palette with it’s Super 58 Custom Humbuckers and Tri-sound electronics.
The Super 58 Custom Humbuckers give an articulate, vintage voice to this mahogany bodied electric. The mini switches next to the volume and tone controls allow the pickups to perform as serial connected humbuckers, parallel connected humbuckers and as single coils.
The combination of mahogany body, Bubinga top, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard provides a wonderfully balanced tonal foundation for the sophisticated electronics.
We found the AR325-DBS guitar to be a sonic chameleon that performed fantastically in a studio environment, able to transform itself into a range of “classic” guitar models.
Aesthetically, the brown sunburst finish compliments the figured Bubinga top beautifully. The gold hardware and pearl/abalone inlays give the AR325-DBS a timeless, art deco touch.
